Services & Contracts

All projects are governed by a written contract detailing scope, timeline, pricing, and payment schedule. Verbal agreements are not binding until documented in writing.

Payments

A non-refundable deposit is required to commence work. Progress payments are invoiced at agreed milestones. Final payment is due upon project completion and client approval.

Changes & Cancellations

Change orders must be approved in writing. Cancellations after work has commenced are subject to fees proportional to work completed and materials ordered.

Intellectual Property

All designs, renderings, and concepts remain the intellectual property of Dream Shelter until final payment is received. Portfolio usage rights are granted to Dream Shelter upon project completion.

Limitation of Liability

Dream Shelter's liability is limited to the value of the contract. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Your satisfaction is paramount. Our refund policy reflects our commitment to transparency and fairness.

Deposit Refunds

Deposits are non-refundable once work has commenced. If you cancel before work begins (within 7 days of signing), a full deposit refund is issued minus a $250 administrative fee.

Material Returns

Unused, uninstalled materials may be returned within 14 days of delivery for a refund minus a 15% restocking fee. Custom-ordered and made-to-measure items are non-returnable.

Workmanship Guarantees

Any defects in workmanship discovered within the 5-year warranty period are repaired or replaced at no cost. Structural issues are addressed within 7 business days of notification.

Dispute Resolution

We encourage open dialogue first. If concerns remain unresolved, we engage an independent mediator. Legal disputes are governed by California state law.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed within 10 business days to the original payment method.
